Wayne’s campaign

Wayne’s campaign begins in the Ebon March sector (959 on the Array map). The year is 7228 a.r. This sector is dense with stars, and three of the Great Kingdoms have outposts there. The Ebon March includes territory of several smaller kingdoms, and has been unaligned for more than two thousand years, since the Dominion of Cinsuala. Currently, there are three Compact signatories in the sector, but they are single worlds, not kingdoms.

One is Hoff, a planet in the contested system of Tivvins. This planet does not have jump tech of their own, but they have pooled their resources and bought a starship, to qualify for the Compact.

Another is Hora’kama prison, where inmates who have engaged in interstellar crimes, are housed. The Compact, via a megacorporation, staff and maintain the prison and the high port. A low port has no orbital craft based there, only a temporary terminal for transport.

The third is Oshukuru, where the campaign begins. The party are a crew from Almerand, mustering out from the military at the same time. Oshukuru is a fairly wealthy world, as the gateway to and from the Ebon March into more cosmopolitan space. Oshukuru is famous for their space elevator, very large, several km across at the base, with a large population inside the gigantic tether structure, leading to a large class-A starport.

Two of the four characters hail from the Ebon March, and two are from Almerand (one of the Great Kingdoms). One has disappeared three times, and our ship found him after the third, floating in space. One is the ship’s doctor, hailing from Hoff, but most recently serving in the Almerand navy. Alongside him is an Almerandi pilot, who is of low station but formidable in battle. The last is a disaffected Almerandi noble whose family forced him into service.

The Entente scout who keeps disappearing? Well, it turns out he has a ship waiting for him in the Tivvins system, if we can all just get there.
